From 2014 to 2018, Switzerland's OGD strategy was overseen by the Swiss Federal Archives and its partners. In 2019, the Open Government Data Office at the FSO coordinated the implementation of the OGD strategy for 2019–2023. For the 2024‒2027 period, an OGD master plan has been drawn up, setting out the activities to accompany the entry into force of the Federal Act on the Use of Electronic Means to Carry Out Official Tasks.
