The Data Science Competence Center (DSCC) delivers projects to the entire Swiss public administration. We have just started collaborations with a number of federal offices, as well as cantonal statistical offices.

StatBot.Swiss
The StatBot.swiss project developed a chatbot that interacts with the federal administration's open data in Switzerland following the question-answer principle.
Problem: Bot that answers questions about Swiss statistical data.
Solution: Cooperation with ZHAW, which already offers several solutions.
Motivation: Standardisation and harmonisation of a wide variety of data to create a common data basis.
Benefit: Based on this, an ML bot that can answer questions.
Output: Easier retrieval of structured data across multiple vertical levels and various horizontal stakeholders.
Participating organisations: DSCC; ZHAW; FOITT; CORSTAT (Statistics Canton of Basel-Stadt, Statistics City of Zurich; Statistical Office Canton of Zurich).
The project aims to automate the detection of measurement errors from sensors on national roads and the reconstruction of missing data. A toolkit in R is being developed to support employees at the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) in data-based decision-making.
