Switzerland sees weaker growth in goods transport than in GDP in 2022

Neuchâtel, 22.11.2016 (FSO) - The transport performance of road goods transport decreased by 1.9% in 2015 compared with the previous year. In contrast, a slight growth of 0.7% was registered for rail transport. In cross-border traffic, part of road transport was successfully transferred to the rail sector. These are some of the findings of the goods transport statistics produced by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
