Neuchâtel, 23.11.2012 (FSO) - From 2009 to 2011, there was a decline in domestic crimes reported to the police (-7.3%). An exception, however, were various violent offences such as homicides (+16.5%) and grievous bodily harm (+27.3%). Just over half of all offences took place within a current partnership. Women and foreign nationals are most affected by domestic violence. These are some of the findings of police crime statistics of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
