Services

The producer price index for services was introduced in order to give consideration to the growing economic importance of
services. New sectors are being gradually integrated. The mid-term aim is to compile an overall producer price index into which price changes in the service sector are also entered. The table below shows which service sectors are currently the subject of producer price surveys.
