Cultural practices in Switzerland - in-depth analysis of 2008 survey Cultural activities widely pursued but practised unevenly
Neuchâtel, 11.04.2011 (FSO) - Numerous cultural practices are widely pursued in Switzerland. They are, however, practised unevenly among the different population groups. These differences are linked to socio-demographic factors, in particular regarding the frequency with which activities are practised. Persons aged 75 and older, those with a lower level of education and low-income households are more likely than other groups to pursue no cultural activities. The in-depth analysis published by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) completes and refines the first results with the addition of previously unpublished developments.
