Video on demand in Switzerland in 2022 VoD in 2022: demand stagnates despite increasing offer

06.10.2023 - In 2022, more than 37 200 films were available on monetised video-on-demand (VoD) platforms in Switzerland. This was around 5% more than the previous year. European and American films accounted for the largest share of the offer. In terms of demand, American productions were still predominant. VoD usage remained almost unchanged or decreased compared with 2021. These are some of the findings of the VoD statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
