2030 Sustainable Development Strategy

The 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy adopted at the end of June 2021, shows the priorities set by the Federal Council in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Switzerland until 2030. The strategy consists of 39 goals; these correspond to part of the 169 targets of the 2030 Agenda translated into the Swiss context. The 39 goals are divided into ten sub-themes in the three key themes

  • sustainable consumption and sustainable production
  • climate, energy and biodiversity
  • equal opportunities and social cohesion

Developments in these 39 goals are monitored by the MONET 2030 indicator system. The indicator system has been adapted for this purpose. Work is still underway on some indicators, which are listed under a working title.
