The FSO Panorama visualises the view across the Lake of Neuchâtel to the Alps and Pre-Alps as it can be seen from the upper floors of the Federal Statistical Office's building and also from many other parts of the city of Neuchâtel. This visualisation is the result of a joint project between the centre of competence ThemaKart (FSO), the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the Federal Office of Topography (swisstopo).
