Educational differences between the sexes have been narrowing over time. The proportion of people without post-compulsory education has decreased, in particular among women. Nowadays, more women complete a higher vocational training. Both the shares of women and of men with a university education have increased markedly. The proportion of women aged 25 to 34 with a university degree is much higher than that of men of the same age.
