The Moving Statistics provide annual information on the Swiss population's behaviour with regard to moving home. They provide information on the proportion of persons who have moved each year, on the socio-demographic characteristics of the moving persons, as well as on the changed living conditions associated with the move. The Moving Statistics are produced by linking the two register-based statistics - the Buildings and Dwellings Statistics (GWS) and the Population and Households Statistics (STATPOP).
