The Federal Statistical Office (FSO) charges the following costs for issuing and extending an LEI. These fees are valid from 15 January 2019:

*The fees include the annual contribution per new or renewed LEI that is required to finance the operations of the GLEIF (Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation).
An LEI application or LEI renewal is only possible online via an order at www.lei.admin.ch.
Transfer to FSO from another LOU (or vice-versa) is also done via www.lei.admin.ch and free of charge. After the transfer, the LEI remains active (status = “ISSUED”) until the renewal date is reached.
