Swiss Labour Force Survey in 3rd quarter 2023: labour supply
In the 3rd quarter 2023, the number of people in employment in Switzerland rose by 2.2% compared with the same quarter of the previous year. During the same period, the unemployment rate as defined by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) fell from 4.3% to 4.2% in Switzerland and from 6.0% to 5.9% in the European Union (EU).
