Cultural economy: new figures on cultural workers 2022
In 2022, there were almost 270 000 cultural workers in Switzerland. Some 27% of these were self-employed, nearly twice as many as in the overall economy. Only 3.4% of cultural workers were unemployed based on the ILO definition in 2022, compared with 4% in 2021.
