Special needs education statistics 2018/19

2.4% of pupils in mainstream classes in compulsory education received reinforced learning support for special educational needs. 1.4% were in a special class and 1.8% in a special school class. Boys were twice as likely as girls to receive specialised teaching support. 90% of special schools are in urban communes or intermediate communes.
