The Harmonized Indices of Consumer Prices (HICP) dedicated section provides access to a full range of HICP information. It gathers together in one place the explanations, reference documents and data already available on Eurostat's website and will be progressively extended to give further information on key projects, methods and data.
The HICP legal framework comprises 18 Regulations, each of them enacted in the form of minimum standards and requiring the implementation of new mandatory measures while allowing the adoption of different solutions to harmonization problems, provided the HICPs are still comparable.
