Convictions of adults 1984-2014 Previous convictions, young age or drug dealing increase likelihood of reoffending

Neuchâtel, 23.11.2015 (FSO) - Some 38% of a group of Swiss adults who had been convicted were reconvicted within ten years. More than half (51%) of reoffenders are convicted a third time. These are some of the findings from a Federal Statistical Office (FSO) study on the delinquent path of a group of Swiss nationals born in 1966.
