Nonparticipation in continous education in 2021

Some 29% of the permanent resident population aged between 25 and 64 have not participated in any form of continuing education or training for at least 5 years. This trend is particularly pronounced among people with lower levels of educational attainment (52%), those who are economically inactive (55%) and individuals aged between 55 and 64 (39%). Many respondents stated that they did not currently need any continuing education or training.
