Supplementary accommodation in 4th quarter and in 2022

Supplementary accommodation recorded 17.4 million overnight stays in 2022. In comparison with the preceding year, this represents an increase of 6.6%. More overnight stays were thus generated than before the COVID-19 pandemic. Demand from foreign visitors increased by 68.9% to 5.1 million. In contrast, the number of overnight stays by domestic guests fell to 12.3 million (-7.4%).
