Consumer Confidence: Results of the February 2024 Survey Consumer sentiment remains lower than last year
The consumer sentiment index stood at –42 points in February 2024. This is seven points lower than in February 2023. Among other things, respondents are more negative about ex-pected economic growth than they were a year ago. Consumers' intentions to make major purchases strengthened year-on-year.
