In-work poverty: Poverty despite gainful employment In 2010, some 120,000 employed persons were affected by poverty in Switzerland

Neuchâtel, 23.10.2012 (FSO) - Approximately 120,000 employed persons were affected by poverty in Switzerland in 2010. Between 2008 and 2010, the in-work poverty rate declined from 5.2% to 3.5%. These are some findings of the Federal Statistical Office's (FSO) latest publication on the revised poverty statistics.
