Medical practices and ambulatory centres: structural data for 2021
At the end of 2021, there were 25 439 doctors working in medical practices and ambulatory centres in Switzerland. They represented 19 004 doctors in full-time equivalents. Just over one in four doctors was aged 60 or over.
