Trajectories in the social security system in 2021 New indicators reveal differences in trajectories within the social security system
New longitudinal indicators for trajectories in the social security system show a slight decline in the number of people receiving daily unemployment insurance allowances, invalidity insurance pensions and social assistance benefits in 2021 (-0.3%). Although the number of people who received several benefits in the same year increased in 2021 (+3.9%), a classification of beneficiary profiles shows that people who move back and forth between benefits are very much in the minority (2.3%).
