Gross domestic product by canton in 2019 GDP growth in almost all cantons in 2019

11.11.2021 - In 2019, an increase in the gross domestic product (GDP) at the previous year’s prices was recorded in nearly all Swiss cantons. Obwalden (+3.5%), Glarus (+3.2%), Zug (+2.7%), Basel-Stadt (+2.6%), Lucerne (+2.6%) and Valais (+2.5%) showed particularly strong growth. These figures stem from the latest estimates of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
