This dataset presents the annual figures for the gross domestic product and the gross domestic product per capita and their change, since 1948. Caution in use: The data prior to 1995 were obtained by retropolation using evolution rates, which have been estimated using old accounting systems (OECD 1952, ESA 1979, ESA 1995). Therefore, this long time series cannot ensure the conceptual and methodological consistency for the entire period.
