Disability and work 2011 One in four persons with disabilities benefit from some form of assistance at work

Neuchâtel, 23.11.2012 (FSO) - Two out of three persons with disabilities pursue a professional activity and one quarter of them benefit from some form of assistance to perform their work. Three out of four report being limited in their professional activity due to health problems, particularly with respect to the type of work and the work volume they can perform. These findings are from a survey module on the employment of persons with disabilities conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) in 2011.
