Construction expenditure in Switzerland in 2022: provisional results Private renovation projects boosted construction investments in 2022

18.07.2023 - Investment in construction rose by 1.8% in nominal terms in 2022 compared with the previous year. This included a marked increase in private renovation investments. Investments in building construction rose by 2.3% and those in civil engineering fell by 0.1%. These are the provisional findings from the Construction Statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
