Producer and Import Price Index fell in May by 0.3%
Neuchâtel, 13.09.2017 (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index rose in August 2017 by 0.3% compared with the previous month, reaching 100.0 points (base December 2015 = 100). The rise is due in particular to higher prices for petroleum products and chemical products. Compared with August 2016, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products rose by 0.6%. These are some of the findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
