Neuchâtel, 12.09.2008 (FSO) - Based on their own assessment, the Swiss people feel for the most part healthy. 87% of those surveyed describe their health as good or very good, as is evident from the initial results of the Swiss Health Survey 2007, which was conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). 37% of respondents are overweight, 28% smoke and 16% of non-smokers are regularly exposed to passive smoking. Nearly a third of under-25-year-olds have smoked cannabis at least once.
