Swiss Earnings Structure Survey (ESS) 2022 In 2022, the median wage was CHF 6788

19.03.2024 - For the entire Swiss economy (private and public sectors together), the gross monthly median wage for a full-time job was CHF 6788 in 2022. Although the wage pyramid remained relatively stable overall between 2008 and 2022, there were major differences between economic sectors and employee profiles. A third of employees (33.6%) received bonuses and 12.1% earned a low wage. These are the initial findings of the Swiss Earnings Structure Survey 2022 conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
