Swiss tourism statistics 2011

This publication provides an overview of data from the tourism statistics. Its aim is to complement the data ­published in the press releases. This publication is made up of three specific sections. The first section focuses on the results of the accommodation statistics for 2011. These cover hotel establishments as well as campsites and youth hostels. The second section presents the ­results of the 2010 survey on the travel behaviour of the Swiss resident population. The last section of the publication presents a series of economic indicators making it possible to place the findings from the tourism statistics in a wider context.
