From an integration perspective, an increase in the percentage of people feeling safe indicates an improved situation.
The percentage of people feeling safe does not vary significantly by migration status.
Since 2015, the percentage of people feeling safe has increased across all the population groups studied.
In no major region, the population without a migration background feels significantly safer than the population with such a background.
This indicator is based on the answer to the following question:
"To what extent do you personally feel threatened by crime or physical violence?" 0 means "not at all threatened" and 10 "very threatened".
This indicator shows the percentage of the resident population that indicated codes 0 to 2.
A feeling of insecurity is defined as a feeling of being unsafe when travelling or at work and a fear of being a victim of an attack or act of physical violence.
