Self-rated state of health

This indicator provides information on peoples’ self-rated general state of health and therefore reflects their quality of life more broadly. It is recognised as a good synthetic indicator of overall population health.

An increase in the share of persons rating their own state of health as good or very good indicates an improved situation.
