Neuchâtel, 05.02.2016 (FSO) - The consumer price index (CPI), the producer and import price index (PPI/IPI) as well as the construction price index (BAP) have been modernised. From 2016, these three statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) will be calculated on a new basis (December 2015=100) using adapted methods. This revision has also enabled production processes to be improved and lessened the burden on respondents.
