The data collected in the scope of the travel behaviour survey enables trips taken by the resident population of Switzerland within and outside national borders to be analysed. Trips made for personal or professional reasons, with or without overnight stays, are recorded. Since 2008, the survey has been conducted annually. Previous surveys were conducted in 2003, 1998 and 1987/1988.
