Social insurance statistics

The Federal Social Insurance Office (FSIO) publishes the Social Insurance Statistics every year. This provides an overview of the different social insurances and includes the Total Social Insurance Accounts (TSIA).

Occupational pension funds

Occupational pension plans together with the AHV/AVS make up Switzerland's most important social insurance in financial terms. The Pension Fund Statistics describe the structure and development of this social insurance.

At a glance

Social insurances within the Confederation's scope of responsibility represent a key part of Switzerland's social protection system. Their benefits protect households and individuals against a number of risks and the financial consequences of these which they might not be able to face alone. The Total Social Insurance Accounts (TSIA) provide detailed information on the finances of social insurances. This statistic is established by the Federal Social Insurance Office (FSIO).
