Growth in the number of old-age pension beneficiaries is slightly higher than in the previous survey (+2.8%).
Compared with 2021, the number of disability pension beneficiaries decreased (–1.2%) to 110 559.
At the end of 2022, 194 771 persons received CHF 4 billion in the form of a surviving spouse's pension.

Since the end of 2018, the total of all current pensions has increased almost linearly, reaching CHF 31.5 billion by the end of 2022.
in 2022, current old-age pensions increased by 2.7% to CHF 25.2 billion.
The annual average old-age pensions amounted to CHF 28 236 per person at the end of the year under review (2021: CHF 28 268).
