Normal hours according to the work volume statistics

According to the Work Volume Statistics (WV), normal working hours represent the contractual hours of employees and, in the case of the self-employed, the hours usually spent on employment. Overtime and absences do not have any impact on normal working hours.

The normal weekly working hours of employed persons working full-time varies depending on the work status: self-employed persons differ to employees and apprentices.
Please note that for apprentices, only the hours of work conducted within the business are considered as normal working hours.
