The population comprises economically active persons and economically inactive persons. Economically active persons – who represent the labour supply – include employed persons (self-employed, family workers and employees) and the unemployed based on ILO definition. Economically inactive persons are represented by persons in education, housewives and house husbands, and pensioners.
