Racism, discrimination and security

By separating one social group from the others through negative treatment, xenophobic, racist or antisemitic acts have a negative impact on life in society. They are an impediment to the integration process and the socio-economic integration of the group discriminated against is greatly influenced by them. At the same time, life in society is affected by a feeling of insecurity. This can be both the cause and the result of the insufficient integration of certain population groups.
