At a glance

Apart from various benefits for individuals, society and the economy, transport also has negative aspects. In 2022, approximately 270 people lost their lives in transport accidents in Switzerland. Furthermore, there is also its negative environmental impact. This includes the use of valuable energy resources as well as noise and air pollutants.
