The Buildings and Dwellings Survey is carried out as part of the Population Census (PC). It records the structure of building and housing stock and provides information about rental prices and home ownership rates. In connection with the population survey, it provides information about housing conditions and the population. It was last carried out in 2000 and replaced by the Buildings and Dwellings Statistics (BDS) as of 2009
