The number of employed persons rose by 2.2% and the unemployment rate (ILO) fell to 4.2% in the 3rd quarter 2023
17.08.2023 - In the 2nd quarter 2023, the number of employed persons in Switzerland increased by 2.9% compared with the same quarter in 2022. In the same period, the unemployment rate as defined by the International Labour Office (ILO) fell from 4.1% to 3.7% in Switzerland and from 6.1% to 5.9% in the EU. These are some of the results of the Swiss Labour Force Survey conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
