The number of employed persons rose by 2.2% and the unemployment rate (ILO) fell to 3.9% in the 4th quarter 2023

20.02.2023 - In the 4th quarter 2022, the number of employed persons in Switzerland increased by 0.8% compared with the same quarter in 2021. During the same period, the unemployment rate as defined by the International Labour Office (ILO) decreased from 4.4% to 4.1% in Switzerland and from 6.4% to 6.0% in the EU. These are some of the results of the Swiss Labour Force Survey conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
