Statistical Yearbook of Switzerland

The Statistical Yearbook published by the Federal Statistical Office has been the standard reference book for Swiss statistics since 1891. It summarises the most important statistical findings on the Swiss population, society, government, the economy and environment. The 2022/2023 edition presents a brand new concept and design: The FSO continues to show the most important statistics from 21 subject areas but in a more reader-friendly format. For the first time it also explains how federal statistics work, what the current challenges are and which topics are in the spotlight. Thanks to over 130 QR codes, the book also opens the door to our digital content offering an unprecedented wealth of statistical information. The yearbook will be published in separate language editions from now on. There is a German and a French edition.

Available in bookshops or directly from the FSO:
