Enterprise groups statistics STAGRE 2014-2021
At the end of 2021, 35 273 enterprises in Switzerland were part of a multinational enterprise group. They employed approximately 1.5 million people, which was just over a quarter of the total number of employees. In terms of employment and turnover, the economic activities of manufacturing and trade dominated.
