Enterprise groups statistics STAGRE 2014-2019
At the end of 2019, 30 118 enterprises in Switzerland were part of a multinational enterprise group. They employ around 1.4 million persons which corresponds to just over a quarter of the total employment. Measured against employment and turnover, the economic sectors of manufacturing and trade predominate.
