Tourist accommodation in the first half of 2023 Overnight stays increased by 13.8% in the first half of 2023

04.08.2023 - The Swiss hotel sector recorded 19.5 million overnight stays in the first half of 2023, an increase of 13.8% (+2.4 million overnight stays) compared with the same period in 2022. With a total of 10.0 million overnight stays, domestic demand remained stable (+21 800 / +0.2%). Foreign visitors registered a strong increase (+2.3 million / +33.0%) with 9.4 million units. These are the provisional results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
