Swiss Labour Force Survey and its derivative statistics: working hours Increase in number of hours worked in Switzerland in 2022
22.05.2023 - In 2022, 7.922 billion hours were worked in Switzerland, an increase of 1.3% compared with the previous year. The pre-pandemic level was achieved. Between 2017 and 2022, the actual weekly hours worked by full-time employees fell by 59 minutes on average, reaching 39 hours and 59 minutes, according to the latest results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
