Swiss Labour Force Survey 2021: yearly averages
Between 2011 and 2021, the activity rate in Switzerland as a whole increased by 1.6 percentage points to 83.7%, with a strong increase in the 55-64 age group (+5.9 percentage points). Part-time employment increased among men, while remaining stable among women. In 2021, just under 10% of part-time employees shared their job with another person, known as job sharing.
